I’m having trouble loading video content. What should I do?

If your video content is not loading properly, it might be due to a browser issue or an unstable internet connection. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:

Refresh the Page: Sometimes a simple refresh can solve the issue.

Check Your Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable and fast connection.

Try a Different Browser: If you’re using Safari, try Chrome or Firefox, or vice versa.

Clear Your Browser Cache:

Chrome:

Click the three dots (top right) → Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data → See all cookies and site data → Search “Stretch Mate” → Remove

Safari:

Go to Safari > Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Search and remove Stretch Mate

Firefox:

Click the three lines (top right) → Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → Search and remove Stretch Mate

I’m a beginner. Where do I start?
Start with our Silver Membership for beginners, where we feature a collection of classes tailored for new students. You can also check out beginner-friendly programs that guide you through safe, alignment-focused practices.

Will Stretch Mate work on my wireless connection?
Yes, our videos are viewable over any reasonably fast wireless connection. The grey bar moving across the timeline will show how quickly it’s loading.

Is there anywhere that I am unable to access Stretch Mate?
Yes, our video host is blocked in China, so videos won’t stream there.

How do I expand the videos to full screen?
Click the icon with four outward arrows in the top right of the player. To exit full screen, click the same icon again.

How do I watch videos in High Definition?
Click “HD” at the bottom right. If the video buffers or freezes, pause it to allow loading or select a lower resolution.

How do I turn on Closed Captions (CC)?
Click the “CC” button on the player, then select English. You can customize caption size, color, and more using the gear icon.

How do I adjust the playback speed of a video?
Click the “1x” on the video player to choose your preferred playback speed.

What is the best browser for Stretch Mate?
We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for best performance.

Do I need to sign up to view videos?
Yes, you’ll need an account to access our videos. Sign up for a free account here:
https://stretchmate.co.uk/contact/ (no credit card required).

My screen saver keeps interrupting the video. How do I disable it?

  • Windows: Right-click desktop → Personalize → Lock Screen → Screen Saver Settings.
  • Mac: Apple icon → System Preferences → Desktop & Screen Saver.

 

How should I prepare my space before a class?
Choose a quiet space, turn off distractions, dim the lights, and maybe light a candle. Make it peaceful.

What else is important before I begin?
Avoid eating for 2 hours before practice, wear comfortable clothing, preview the video if needed, and most importantly—listen to your body and enjoy the process.

How do I bookmark favorite videos?
Click the heart icon under a video to save it to a Collection. You can manage Collections in your Practice Studio, accessible from your profile icon.

How do I become a member?
Visit our Membership page for more information and to sign up.

My postal code isn’t registering—what do I do?

How do I change my password?

How do I skip forward in a video?
Click anywhere on the video timeline to skip ahead.

How do I cancel my subscription?

How do I switch from Monthly to Yearly (or vice versa)?
